1. Collection and Used of Merchant Information
1.1 General Overview
NICEPAY will collect information when merchants register their business either through the website www.nicepay.co.id or through NICEPAY’s Sales and Marketing Team to use NICEPAY’s Payment Gateway service. The process of collecting data or information starts from the initial registration, namely collecting data such as (Business Name, Address, Email and Website Domain). After the initial data collection, the Merchant will be asked to collect further data which contains filling data in Merchant Application Form (it contains more information about their business and legality of the Merchant).
1.2 Use of Information Merchant
NICEPAY may use the information that NICEPAY collect about Merchant in connection with the provision of NICEPAY Services to:
- verify an identity for compliance purposes and evaluate an application or website to use NICEPAY Services;
- provide, maintain, and improve NICEPAY Services, including, for example, to facilitate payments, settlement information, provide services that Merchant request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Merchant, develop safety features and send service updates and administrative messages;
- perform internal operations, including, for example, to prevent fraud and abuse of NICEPAY Services; to monitoring the transactions and operational problems; to conduct data analysis and business, testing and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends; or
- audits, regulatory purposes and compliance according to payment industry standards.
2. Collection and Used of Cardholder Information
2.1 Cardholder Information Collected
At the time the cardholder will purchase goods or services sold/offered on the merchant’s site, cardholders will insert information related to the booking/purchase of goods or services according to the specifications. The information such as type of card, cardholder name, card number, card expiration, and card security code.
2.2 The Use of Cardholder Information
Cardholder information gathered will be used for the benefit of Internet transactions. This information is also used to monitor the validity of the transaction by using the technique of fraud prevention, to protect merchants and cardholders from fraud attempt from outside parties. Besides, the cardholder information will also be used for NICEPAY as a better understanding of consumer behavior to improve our services.
3. Collection and Use of Information on Prospective New Employees
All data and/or information related to prospective new employees received by NICEPAY will be treated as confidential information and kept confidential. NICEPAY will not provide, disclose, or disclose such information to other parties outside of the interests of the recruitment process without prior written approval from the Providing Party.
4. Information Security
All information received by NICEPAY either from the Merchant or Customer of Merchant will be protected and kept confidential, under the provisions and legal rules in force in Indonesia to protect the privacy of the Information Provider. NICEPAY also ensures that this data protection complies with the PCI-DSS standard. Besides, the NICEPAY website also uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect information from the Merchant and Customer of Merchant.
4. NICEPAY’s Commitment
NICEPAY recognizes the trust of Merchant through Merchant use of NICEPAY services. NICEPAY is committed to protecting Merchant's personal information. NICEPAY’s policies comply with NICEPAY obligations under applicable laws and are intended to protect Merchant privacy in respect of any personal information that Merchant may provide to NICEPAY and guarantee that the privacy policy is implemented in all parts of NICEPAY’s work.
5. Changes to Privacy Policy
NICEPAY may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to NICEPAY business, the website or services, or applicable laws. If the revised version includes a substantial change, NICEPAY will provide Merchant with 30 days prior notice by posting notice of the change on the “Policy Update” page of NICEPAY’s website or NICEPAY also may notify Merchant of the change using email or other communication.
